About the Mill: Each year the Mascot Roller Mills and Ressler Family Home welcomes more than 12,000 visitors to this historic site nestled in the heart of a thriving Amish community in eastern Lancaster County. Frequently asked questions

Is this event rain or shine?

This event is RAIN or SHINE. In the case of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather conditions, we will announce cancellation/postponement via email at least 2 hours prior to the event.

Can I take photos during the event?

You are more than welcome to take photos of the farm (landscape, buildings, animals, etc) but please DO NOT take photographs in which faces are recognizable. Refraining from taking photos is more than just a courtesy; it's a sign of respect for our Amish neighbors and their way of life.

What should I wear?

Parts of this event are outside on a working farm, so please dress accordingly. We recommend closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, and clothes that are comfortable in both sunny and rainy weather.

Parking

LFT staff members will be available to help you find parking. While we do our best to provide convenient parking close to the event, not every farm property is the same - so please be prepared to walk a short distance. We encourage guests to carpool when possible to help limit vehicles.

Accessibility Concerns

This tour is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, but will involve walking or standing on uneven surfaces for a portion of the event.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We offer a buffet of breakfast food options. Please let us know if you have any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions and we will try our best to accommodate.
