Join us for a tour led by Lancaster Farmland Trust and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay in celebration of Lancaster County Water Week!
Lancaster County leads the nation in farmland preservation with over 1,500 family farms and more than 115,000 acres protected forever.
But preserving a farm is just the beginning!
Long-term care of farmland – including conservation planning and Best Management Practice (BMP) implementation - helps farmers and their communities create a sustainable future. Learn more about how Lancaster Farmland Trust and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay are addressing natural resource concerns on Lancaster County farms to benefit soil health and productivity while keeping local streams and rivers clean!
