From Farm to Fork: A Feature of Lancaster County Restaurant Week Eateries

November 6, 2023

If you're a foodie looking for opportunities to show LFT some support, Discover Lancaster's Lancaster County Restaurant Week is what you've been searching for!

Lancaster County Restaurant Week begins today, and a portion of participating restaurants' proceeds go directly to our work here at Lancaster Farmland Trust. Sound good? Here is a bit about each participating eatery!

Bistro 2Two2

Bistro 2Two2 is located at the Eden Resort and Suites and serves pizza, burgers, and other American favorites! For Lancaster County Restaurant Week, Bistro 2Two2 will be serving a local specialty dish: PA kielbasa with mustard dressing and homemade pierogis. Plus, the diner is offering an extra 25% off non-alcoholic dine-in orders during Lancaster County Restaurant Week. Support this local luxury, eat some pierogis, and strengthen LFT!

Lapp Valley Farm Creamery and Café

Lapp Valley Farm Creamery and Café are champions of farm-to-table dining. All ice cream is made directly on the farm, and all grilled menu items are made from locally raised beef. Burgers feature homemade bread and cheese made right here in Lancaster County. Get yourself a treat - you deserve it!

Casey Jones' Restaurant at Paradise Station

If you're looking for a more unique experience, Casey Jones' Restaurant has you covered! Enjoy your meal in locomotive dining cars originating from 1900s Pennsylvania. If you're lucky enough to catch a window seat, you get a front-row view of the trains on the Strasburg Railroad, plus a unique view of beautiful farmland. Indulge in breakfast, lunch, or dinner in style, and help preserve that precious farmland!

Lititz Springs Inn and Spa

The Lititz Springs Inn has hosted weary travelers since 1764. The Inn now features two gorgeous eateries for foodies of all kinds to enjoy, serving American and British cuisine. In honor of Lancaster County Restaurant Week, Lititz Springs Inn and Spa is featuring their delightful Farmer's Salad, made from local ingredients sourced from Field's Edge Farm. With some of Lancaster's finest cuisine and cocktails, supporting LFT has never been so delicious!

Fox Meadows Creamery

Fox Meadows Creamery takes local eating very seriously. This creamery is cow-to-cone, serving products made directly from the family's small dairy farm. Even better, this creamery has two locations – Leola and Ephrata – to make your experience more convenient. Both sites use locally raised beef for their burgers, and both locations are participating in Lancaster County Restaurant Week! Plus, Fox Meadows will be offering fun giveaways and other amazing deals all week long.

Manheim Twin Kiss

The Manheim Twin Kiss is a delicious family-owned ice cream shop. Offering ice cream and burgers from only the freshest local ingredients, this family has been proudly serving the Lancaster community since 1952. Get a taste of nostalgia and delicious burgers, fries, and sweets!

Smokehouse BBQ and Brews

Located on Plain & Fancy Farm, Smokehouse BBQ & Brews offers local favorites, from deliciously smoked meat to locally sourced alcoholic beverages. To celebrate Lancaster County Restaurant Week, Smokehouse will give $1 from every full-price sandwich to Lancaster Farmland Trust. Grab yourself a burger and protect our precious farmland!

Miller's Smorgasbord

Who doesn't love some good 'ole Pennsylvania Dutch comfort food? Miller's Smorgasbord has been serving hearty PA favorites to Lancaster County since 1929 when founder Anna Miller served chicken and waffles to truckers. For Lancaster County Restaurant Week, this eatery will donate $1 from every full-price meal to LFT! Enjoy local cuisine and help us protect our culture.

Decades Lancaster

Don't just want to eat? Go to Decades! This restaurant is in the historic Stahr Armory and includes a bar, arcade, and bowling alley! For Lancaster County Restaurant Week, Decades is offering a one-appetizer and two-entrees combo for $35. Get yourself some good food and beat your friends at bowling!

Speckled Hen

At LFT, we proudly say that Speckled Hen has regularly fueled our lunch breaks for years. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a hot burger made with ingredients from local farms such as Meck's Produce, Maplehofe Dairy, and Verdant View Farm. To celebrate this year's Lancaster County Restaurant Week, Speckled Hen is offering 10% off Monday through Thursday!

Nothing beats eating farm-to-table food, especially when your meal helps to protect and steward our farmland. We are so thankful to our local farmers and restaurant owners who made this week possible, and we are grateful to Discover Lancaster for hosting this event!
