Well… 2020 was quite a year, wasn’t it? And yet, despite it being troubling times, we continued to see a rise in farmers interested in preservation. You also witnessed that need and stepped up to support it.

Together, we preserved 15 farms and 893 acres in 2020. We reached milestones, such as carrying out 13 environmental grants - more than any other year in the previous decade. Our team conducted nearly 500 farm visits, encouraging farmers to take action in conservation planning and implementation of best management practices on their farms that help to improve local water quality.

We could not do this work without you, and we are so grateful for your support.

We are pleased to share the complete story of our work through our online Annual Report, which provides an in-depth look at all we accomplished in 2020, including the progress made with the Honoring the Promise capital campaign, which aims to raise $7.5 million to ensure the 50 families on our waiting list will realize the dream of protecting their land - forever.
