Join Lancaster Farmland Trust staff for a unique field day at a small family-owned farm to learn about water quality initiatives, Best Management Practices, and conservation efforts implemented on this traditional dairy operation. Visitors will observe firsthand how sustainable farming practices protect local watersheds while maintaining a productive, 100% grass-fed dairy herd. The family proudly provides milk to an organic cooperative, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship and high-quality production. Sample products from the cooperative will be available for tasting, offering a true farm-to-table experience and showcasing the direct connection between conservation practices and the food we enjoy.
