Are you ready for ExtraGive on Friday? We sure are! There are so many ways you can show your support for LFT on the big day, and we’re here to be your guide! Keep scrolling to learn how you can protect our farmland on Lancaster’s biggest day of giving!
What is ExtraGive?
ExtraGive is a 24-hour campaign that strives to bring awareness and support to Lancaster County’s non-profits. This day spotlights organizations all over the county and provides Lancaster locals with easy opportunities to donate. Thanks to the event’s sponsors donations given through ExtraGive’s donation page are stretched with Stretch Pool dollars—so your impact is even greater!
Donate on ExtraGive
One of the biggest ways to show your support for LFT is to donate on ExtraGive! Giving is easy:
- Check the calendar! Be sure to donate on the day of the event, November 22nd, to maximize your impact and utilize the Stretch Pool.
- Head over to ExtraGive.org and click the “View Participating Organizations” button.
- View and search for the non-profits involved (like Lancaster Farmland Trust…just an example).
- Once you’ve found the organization you’d like to support (like Lancaster Farmland Trust, for example…) simply click the “Donate” button!
For even easier access to LFT’s ExtraGive page, click here! Remember: the earlier you give on November 22nd, the farther your gift will go. Whether you stay up until midnight or donate first thing in the morning, your early gift will help us reach more people!
We are excited to announce that Lancaster Gift Box has generously donated a $5,000 match, starting at 3 p.m. on Friday! This means that your gift, no matter how big or small it is, will have an even bigger impact in helping us protect the land that we cherish. Become a Fundraising Champion
Help us reach our fundraising goals by becoming a Fundraising Champion for LFT!
Fundraising Champions utilize their personal social media pages to raise awareness and funds for their chosen non-profit. You can help us reach even more of Lancaster with our mission! Sign up for GiveGab’s peer-to-peer software to encourage friends and loved ones to get involved during ExtraGive. Here’s how to become a Champion for LFT:
- Sign up for a GiveGab account. To create an account, click here and plug in your information.
- Once you’ve created an account, click here to view LFT’s ExtraGive page and click the “Fundraise” button.
- Put in any necessary information if you’re prompted.
- Now you have a personal LFT giving page! Personalize your page through your GiveGab account.
- Share this page on your social media platforms during ExtraGive to encourage your friends and family to show their support!

Share on Facebook and Instagram why you give to LFT, tag or mention LFT in the caption, and use the hashtags #IGiveExtra or #ExtraGive. When you post before the end of November 22nd, we’ll be entered to win!

Awareness is everything! This ExtraGive, we’re working to reach new Lancastrians who are passionate about our agricultural community, and you can help us! Spread the word about our mission by sharing our videos and posts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn on the big day!
Visit Us Downtown
We are so excited to announce that Seasons Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom will be raising funds on behalf of LFT during ExtraGive! Visit any of Seasons’ two locations on November 22nd to purchase their delicious Traditional 18-year Balsamic (60mL). All proceeds will be donated to our mission! Bottles are only $5, so enjoy a night out on the town, buy some delectable balsamic, and help us preserve more land!
While you’re out, give us a visit at Lancaster Gift Box during ExtraGive to grab some LFT goodies and get your holiday shopping done! Every time you buy at Lancaster Gift Box, one percent of proceeds is donated to advancing our mission, so shop ‘till you drop and save some farms!
