Meet Our New Board Members

January 21, 2026

We are grateful to have a dedicated and hard-working Board of Trustees here at LFT, and we are excited to welcome the newest members! Without our Board, our work would not be possible. Join us in welcoming James, Kyle, Andrew, Alex, and Joe!

James Noel

Jamie is a partner at the Lancaster law firm of Appel Yost LLP with more than 36 years of experience advising families, nonprofits, and corporate fiduciaries. He grew up in Lancaster County, receiving his law degree from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in Wilmington, Delaware. An avid hunter and fly fisherman, Jamie also enjoys a longstanding family connection to local southern Lancaster County farmland, bringing a personal commitment to agricultural preservation and intergenerational land stewardship. Jamie has served on various non-profit and municipal authority boards providing oversight of public assets and long-range planning. His combination of personal agricultural roots, fiduciary insight, and nonprofit governance experience positions him to contribute meaningfully to the Lancaster Farmland Trust’s mission of preservation, stewardship, and community benefit.

Kyle Sensenig

Kyle is the CEO of Leroy M. Sensenig, Inc. and the Founder of 360 Ag Solutions. Kyle is a Lancaster County native, born and raised in Ephrata. He graduated from Ephrata high school in 2006 and went to Millersville University the following fall.

Kyle is married to Nina (Bruno) Sensenig and they have three energetic children, Julian (8), Merritt (5), and Lennon (2). Kyle has always been active (running and riding bikes) and enjoys almost any sport. He also has a passion for music, reading, and history.

Andrew Stutzman

Andrew is an Ag Lending Manager with Horizon Farm Credit. He holds a BS from Calvin University and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College. Andrew lives in Reinholds with his wife, Adrianne, and their three daughters. He enjoys tending a small orchard on his family’s farm as well as many other outdoor activities.

Alex Snyder

Alex Snyder is an attorney with Barley Snyder where he works with a range of clients, from individuals to families, small business owners, and non-profit organizations.

In Alex’s estate and trust practice, he assists his clients in developing their estate and tax plan to best meet their individual, family or business succession planning needs while minimizing tax implications. Alex serves on boards for numerous organizations, including the Warehime Foundation, Point of View Foundation, Glatfelter Foundation, Susquehanna National Heritage Association, Lancaster Conservancy, and the Ressler Mill Foundation.

Alex has gained a unique understanding of the issues facing family-owned and agricultural businesses through his personal experience with his family’s small commercial farm.

Additionally, Alex has assisted non-profit organizations in formation, tax-exempt status filing, and general governance issues.

Joe Hess

Joe is a Senior Vice President and Financial Consultant in the Lancaster office of Hazlett, Burt, and Watson. An 11th generation Lancastrian, Joe’s grandfather was a Mount Joy dairy farmer.

Joe earned a BBA in finance and risk management from Temple University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA® charterholder, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.

Prior to joining Hazlett in 2025, Joe spent 15 years at Vanguard in various investment-focused and leadership roles, most recently leading a team of outsourced chief investment officers serving endowments & foundations across the northeast United States. In his current role, Joe provides investment counseling and advice to individuals and families across the demographic spectrum – most of whom live in or have ties to the Lancaster area.

Joe and his wife Angela reside in East Lampeter Township with their four young children. He’s an avid reader and enjoys staying physically active through cycling.
