This event is RAIN or SHINE. In the case of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather conditions, we will announce cancellation/postponement via email at least 2 hours prior to the event.
Out of respect for our host farm family, we kindly ask that no photos be taken of the family or their home/farm.n
This event is outside on a working farm, so please dress accordingly. We recommend closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and clothes to keep you comfortable whether the sun is beating down on you or if the day gives way to rain.
LFT staff members will be available to help you find parking. While we do our best to provide convenient parking close to the event, not every farm property is the same – so please be prepared to walk a short distance. We encourage guests to carpool when possible to help limit vehicles.
Our events are held on working farms and typically involve walking across unpaved surfaces such as grass, gravel, fields, and uneven ground. Because of this, some areas may present accessibility challenges. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please reach out to sdenton@lancft.org.
