Volunteer With Us.
We have many volunteer opportunities, from tree plantings to events set-up and tabling. Your contribution of time can help us increase our visibility and make a positive impact on our community. If you need community service hours for work or for school, we can provide documentation. Helping to save Lancaster County’s landscape is a rewarding experience, and there are lots of ways to contribute to the effort.
Support local farmers, address food insecurity.
Thanks to our generous sponsors at Corteva Agriscience, Lancaster Farmland Trust is thrilled to announce our partnership with local farmers and hunger relief agencies to launch a transformative second-harvest program in Lancaster County. The Farm to Pantry Project aims to provide fresh, locally grown produce to families in need. Join a Committee.
Be part of a team that organizes our major fundraising events, builds relationships with donors, reviews land preservation applications, or helps our staff monitor farms around the county. Most LFT committees meet once a month at our office in Strasburg or at another central location in the county. Virtual meeting options are also available for committee members.
